Fortanga’s Instagram account may be subject to blocking, following information about the republic’s closed election process that is undesirable to the authorities.
After Fortanga published information about the lack of online video surveillance at Ingush territorial and precinct election commissions, the publication was spammed with likes.
In one hour, the post garnered 31,290 likes (as of 9 p.m. Moscow time), the likes are being massively scooped, which could lead to the post or page being blocked, for violating Instagram’s user rights. In order to avoid being blocked, the post was deleted by the editors themselves and the account was closed.
