Rimma Gagloeva’s nephew does not rule out that the Chechen special services might be behind her disappearance.
The head of North Ossetia, Sergei Menyailo, has taken personal control of the case of the February 6 disappearance of two people on the border of Ingushetia and Chechnya.
According to the press service of the Government of North Ossetia, Menyailo got involved in the issue after a video message from Rimma Gagloeva’s nephew, MMA fighter Georgy. The head of the republic talked to representatives of the family.
“I have already had a telephone conversation with the leaders of the neighboring republics – the investigation has been taken under personal control by myself and my colleagues from Ingushetia and the Chechen Republic. There is established close cooperation between law enforcement agencies in all three regions – all forces are thrown to search for the missing,” – said Menyailo, whose words are listed on the website of the government of RSO.
The official also discussed the incident with Deputy Prosecutor General Andrei Kikot. “Currently, cooperation with police units of the subjects of the North Caucasus Federal District has been organized in order to establish the whereabouts of the resident of the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania. Moreover, the investigative directorate of the Republic of Ingushetia is conducting an initial inquiry into the commission of the crime, which is envisaged by item ‘g’, part 2, article 126 of the Criminal Code of Russia (kidnapping of two or more persons). “The report says, “Zh” part 2 of article 126 of the Criminal Code of Russia (abduction of two or more persons), according to the results of which an appropriate procedural decision will be made.
However, the press service did not specify whether North Ossetian policemen or investigators would be sent to neighboring subjects.
His nephew Georgy Gagloev admits that his aunt was kidnapped in Chechnya. He said that members of the family looked at the video surveillance cameras that are on the territory of Ingushetia, but they did not find anything on them. The Chechen side does not allow access to video from its cameras, he claims.
Gagloyev links his aunt’s disappearance to the campaign to persecute fortune-tellers in Chechnya. “My aunt used to remove the evil eye from children, she had many visitors from different countries – from America and Egypt to Russia. I assume that Chechens visited her, and in order to get information about these clients, they took her away,” Gagloyev was quoted as saying by Kavkaz. Realii.
In a conversation with Fortanga, Gagloev confirmed the fact of Sergei Menyailo’s conversation with the elders of the family – the aksakals. However, according to him, there are still no changes in the case. Representatives of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, whom he asked for help, have not been in touch yet.
He criticized the officials’ belated reaction to what had happened. “The question remains – why did it all start only today, if the man has been gone for three days? Why is the head only now being told about it? If the son of some leader had gone missing, they would have found him in two hours. Why can’t we, as citizens of Russia, have hope in our government? For three days, only relatives act and search, and only then do the employees, for whom this is a job, get involved. They should be the first to be interested in the search…” said Gagloyev.
Relatives of Adam Askhayev, who disappeared along with Gagloeva, were assured by law enforcement agencies that the search for him was continuing. There is no other information, Askhayev’s brother told Fortanga.
We should remind you that on the evening of February 6, Adam Askhayev was supposed to take 57-year-old Rimma Gagloeva, who had flown in from Dubai, from Grozny airport to Beslan. Late in the evening of February 6, they stopped contacting each other, and the next morning Ashaev’s Toyota Corolla was found open near the gravel pit in Sunzha, near the “Rosneft” gas station.
Later, there was information in social networks that the man was found and was at home, but the Arsaevs’ teyp held a meeting and denied this information. Interestingly, Georgy Gagloev also received information about the discovery of the missing people, but later the law enforcers stated that the search continues.
The press service of Ingushetia’s Interior Ministry did not specify how many law enforcers and from which regions were involved in the search.
